Introduction to Black and White Film Processing
Learning to develop your own black and white film is not only more cost effective, but yields clean and well looked after negatives. The hands on developmental process is also, in my opinion a vital part of why we love film.
During this one on one tuition, we will cover the theory behind black and white film processing, and the chemical process using Ilford products with Paterson tanks.
You could try and learn this process via Youtube, but I’ve found most videos on how to develop black and white film overly complicated and confusing. I guarantee that you will know how to develop black and white film after this one on one session.
Once you have spent this time with me, you will have a strong foundation to develop your own film with confidence, and do it yourself quickly and effectively from then on. I’ll also provide a PDF document that covers everything that we talk about and cover, as well as a follow up discussion to check in on your progress.
